EOS Mixtape Watch

The cassette tape died long ago, and the CD isn’t too far behind at this point thanks to the advent and proliferation of digital music (i.e. iTunes and Napster).  As a result those items and their associated devices, such as a Walkman and CD players will be come collector items, and in turn go from antiquated to cool, much like the record player.
And that’s what makes the EOS Mixtape Watch so damn cool.  Its case is crafted from anodized black stainless steel, and if you haven’t noticed closely resembles the now defunct cassette tape.  According to its product page, both of the “discs” actually spin, while the right one displays the time. The little robot face really has not relevance, while the laser etched “60 min” is a further ode to the original blank cassette used for what else…making mixed tapes for that someone special.  Last but not least, it includes a genuine leather strap.
You can grab one for $135.
